A Legacy on Lake Roosevelt
Kettle Falls Marina was founded in 1988 with a simple mission: give boaters on Lake Roosevelt a reliable, welcoming home base. What started as a small dock operation has grown into a full-service marina serving hundreds of families, anglers, and water enthusiasts every season.
Nestled in the heart of northeastern Washington, Lake Roosevelt stretches 150 miles along the Columbia River behind Grand Coulee Dam — one of the most scenic and underrated boating destinations in the Pacific Northwest. We've been proud stewards of this stretch of water for over three decades.
Through the years we've expanded our slips, upgraded our fuel dock, stocked our marina store, and — most importantly — built lasting relationships with the boating community that calls this lake home every summer.
Lake Roosevelt — Washington's Hidden Gem
Formed by the impoundment of the Columbia River at Grand Coulee Dam, Lake Roosevelt stretches 150 miles through the Colville National Forest and the Colville Indian Reservation. The lake sits within the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, managed by the National Park Service, offering world-class fishing, boating, swimming, and camping along its dramatic shoreline.

Carol Wimberly
Founders & Owners
Carol opened the marina in 1988 and have been at the helm ever since. Carol's husband Ed passes away in 2019 so Carol has been running operations. You'll often find Carol, in the store, and our crew on the fuel dock or swapping fishing stories with guests.
Vicki Ballard
Marina Manager
Vicki grew up on born and raised just a mile from the marina and now manages day-to-day operations. She knows every inch of Lake Roosevelt and is always happy to share local knowledge.
